not the whitewashed history the real history. My kids have been taught black history at home, but it should be a required subject and not just glanced over in February.

If based on successful inventions, that is going to be one short class.

What part did I miss?

Btw DUmbass white girl looking for cred,some of what is the continuing saga of black history in Africa is not all that wonderful to see,will that be taught too?

Short lesson in black history.  "Assault a policeman with a gun, you die"   End of lesson.

I saw a professor on the History Channel that I believe may have studied at rbrnmw's house.

The professor, a black woman, said that when Caesar hooked up with Cleopatra the Roman people weren't happy because Cleopatra was "a woman of color".

Howzabout History - real events, real accomplishments, things that matter in how things got the way they are and how we live our lives today - regardless of the skin color of the people who did or accomplished things?!
