K-line RR asst stuff for sale

I'm preparing to sell off my collection of model railroad stuff. I have a couple full sets. And lots of individual stuff like the K-line BIG BOY that runs on an 0-27 curve.

It may be 6-8 months, so there is no rush.

1. To check for a realistic value

of an item for sale go to Ebay and search for the item. Then scroll down until you see sold items on the left and check that box. You will only see items that sold and what they went for. That is what I consider the fair market value. It is always good to see how many bids too. That will show how much interest there is in the item.

good luck.

Oh my! If the big guy has begun to divest himself of his possessions, this may be one of the warning signs of impending self destruction.
This too shall pass.

It's just more selfishness on the big guy's part.

First off, when he took early retirement, apparently it meant that poor dear Marta would get less of a widow's pension after he kicks the bucket.

But that's going to be her problem, not his.

And now this; instead of leaving stuff so that poor dear Marta can garage-sale it after he departs this mortal coil so as to take care of herself in old age widowhood, he's selling stuff now so he can spend the money.

The big guy has no consideration for anybody but his own big dumb self.

Why is he selling it off ?
Libs purport to be the most generous people on the planet.
And they are, with other people's money.
That train set would buy a lot of homeless a hot meal.
He could give a fish to a lot of people with that money.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

<<<has no idea what O scale and S scale electric trains go for these days.

<<<grew up with HO scale.

"O27" is an economy version of "O" scale that Lionel brought out Post-War, in the mid-Fifties I think, when the scale modeling interest in HO started to really pinch them.  They moved to a higher-end, more scale-like line that was designed to run on a 72" radius curve for the large scale modelers, and the much smaller footprint of O27 (Same gauge track, but with a 27" minimum radius curve) for the toy train crowd.  Over the years Lionel ended up with mainly the toy train crowd, and the stuff designed for the more scale-like wide radius curves dropped by the wayside making it fairly collectible these days, though there is quite a collector market for the older toy train stuff too.

Most of it is not worth huge bucks, the really big money goes for stuff that was made for a wider-gauge track known as Standard Gauge, which more or less disappeared from the consumer scene around the end of the Twenties.
