Well, folks, the Impossible just happened.

I got back from visiting the physician in the big city, turned on the computer, laid out all the material for writing the final award, the award for this year's top primitive.....and abruptly got writer's block.

It's bad, this writer's block--it makes the old Berlin Wall look transparent and penetrable.  It's a total mind-boggling block; no way over it, under it, or around it.

I'm gonna back off and relax a bit, to see if that helps.

This probably means it won't be posted before suppertime.  We're going to be lucky it gets posted before midnight, but that's a reasonable hope, "before midnight."
