Now will people believe me when I say we live in a de facto police state?

The CIA and the NYPD have declared themselves above the law and answerable to NO ONE.

The CIA broke into the senate intelligence committee's computers to spy on them and disrupted their investigation. No one was punished.

The NYPD is openly calling for the removal of the legally elected mayor.

Need I mention the refusal to prosecute war criminals?

31. As someone who mother was killed by a police detective driving drunk and who watched the policeman walk away unpunished despite a mountain of evidence, I don't use the the goddamed term "flippantly". I have had repeated experience with police misconduct and have never seen ANY of it punsihed.

This clown's a real piece of work, and I've always wondered why the primitives never held him accountable for his counterproductive rages and prejudices.

After all, this guy's the reason the Bostonian Billionaire wasn't inaugurated on January 20, 2005.

To make a long story short, he tried to cheat a prominent election-reform activist; she wouldn't let him cheat her, and so he hated her.

Right after the presidential election of 2004, she showed up on Skins's island; she described all she was doing, to get a recount in Ohio, which ostensibly would show that John Kerry actually carried that state.

She was just ten dollars short of proving that Kerry'd won Ohio.

But before she could raise the last ten dollars she needed, he libeled and slandered and misrepresented her, and she was chased away from Skins's island by the torch-and-pitchfork-bearing primitives.

The "Kevin Malice" primitive's the reason the primitives had to endure four more years of the evil George Bush.

But the primitives don't seem to hold it against him.

In a police state, you would not know what the CIA is up to. In a police state, we would not be debating the idiotic statements by NYPD.

So no. What we do have is too damned many people in the country, which leads to complacency and lack of interest in changing the laws.

You just rely on people to deny that such things exist and keep telling them that they can't be living in a police state because now one is wearing swastika armbands and they get to say what they like, to a point. If they start actually organizing REAL opposition in the streets, you crush that shit fast and hard (See the Occupy movement and heavy-handed police responses to Ferguson).
