There are plenty of draft dodgers in both parties in that age group, in fact they seem to be the vast majority of that generation's members of the political power structure. Some stayed on student deferments (Hardly frowned on at the time, I mean seriously, would you rather stay on a college campus chasing girls or live in a barracks for less than a hundred bucks a month for two years, with the added bonus of getting shot at in a war that Congress spent most of its waking hours trying to torpedo in the most public way possible?). Some served in services or components where they did not reasonably expect to encounter any face-to-face shooting, even if a couple of them turned out to be mistaken about the risk levels of their chosen paths. A few real cowards suddenly developed 'deep religious or philosophical objections to killing their Fellow Man' and tried to become conscientious objectors or simply fled like the slime-encrusted rat-weasels they were *cough* Clenis *cough*. A tiny number of those who eventually rose to prominence in the parties actually did serve on the ground as Soldiers or Marines, though they were flukes since that was regarded as unseemly and beneath the dignity of the Ivy League scions who have the skids greased into those corridors of power by family and school connections.
However, contrary to the DUmmtard's childishly-vulgar screed, Dick Cheney seems to be taking the report head-on and unrepentantly facing it with no regrets, while it is Obama and his cabal are the ones who are famous for the voracious appetite of their giant bus.
