I'm not saying she SHOULD be brushed off, but it could, and often does, happen and a sexual predator could get away with it.

But when more than twenty women come forward, it is overwhelming. I can only assume some police authority is involved in looking back at the allegations.

In my own mind, Cosby is almost certainly guilty of what woman after woman is alleging happened.

I think Gloria Alred's call for him to fund $100M to repay victims seen as credible by a panel of retired judges.

Just a gentle reminder to all.

The first rule of the DUmpster--it's in the rules--is that when copying-and-pasting a primitive thread, the name of the originally-posting primitive has to be copied-and-pasted too.

In case one's curious about some of these "edited by franksolich" lines.

This is a rule because it then shows up on search engines with the proper primitive's name so the world outside conservativecave can laugh too.

You'd have to be an idiot to do anything that harridan attention whore demanded that you do in litigation.  She has become rich off nuisance and go-away money, not primarily from cases with merit.

The problem with 20-odd women coming forward, 30 years after the fact, is that while some of them no doubt feel honestly victimized and may even be everything they claim, some of them are also undoubtedly profiteers looking to make a pile of bucks.   Anyone represented by Allred I would automatically assume to be in the latter group.

Cosby would have to be a total moron to even discuss settlement of such ancient and unprovable claims, far beyond any civil or criminal statutes of limitations at this late date.  There is no value in settling a few of them for hush money since so many claiming to be victims have now come forward, the damage is already done.  Time to just sit back and count his dough, and retire from public life.

Bill Cosby has become a target of the left since he speaks truth about black culture and they don't want to hear what he says. Destroy the messenger and the message dies with him.

We saw the same thing with Herman Cain.  Gloria Allred supposedly had all these women ready to come out with stories about Herman Cain. When his run for president faded away, so did all those claims from various women.

That particular charade was about politics, not getting a litigation settlement.  You can bet your ass she made a pile of dough on it from a benefactor of the Democrat Party...or possibly even a fiscal Conservative mainstream Republican, and once Cain was tubed she had the money and the purpose of the whole drill had been served, so it all went away.
