Just jammed a co-worker re: Eric Garner, Michael Brown, et al

Frigging jackass was lounging in my doorway, using his empty Diet Coke can for a dip spit cup (gross) and announced he was "tired of hearing about this race crap." He knows how I roll, it's not uncommon for him or any other mouthbreather to come in here and try to poke me with a stick the day after he looks up at the scoreboard and his "team" scored a point.

He said "They're their own worst enemy. Stereotypes exist for a reason."

I just kept staring at the screen and typing and said "Yeah they do. That's why you're just another racist redneck from North Mississippi that drives a big red truck with a NASCAR logo, chews worm dirt, and spends most of the day bitching about black people. I like you well enough Mike, but you're a stone cold racist and some days I don't feel like jousting with guys like you. This is one of those days. We'll talk about how hard white people have it later, please leave."

He said "aren't we sensitive today" and left, presumably to find someone else who wanted to play.

I'm so sick of this shit. I'm taking care of an aged parent here in TN. Someday I will flee this shithole state and find a place where I don't have to tread water in a sea of religion and racism every day.

     I thought about this for a few minutes and realized why I think it's such a stupid sack of shit. Here is the bouncy condensed into its bare essentials:

     "Someone at work said something I didn't like and I asked them to go away."

     To which an entire DU audience wowed in amazement.  I mean, gee: someone said something the DUmmy didn't like, and he rebuffed them with the almighty "please go away."

     Wow. That's stickin' it to the MAN, man.
