I watched a video today where they were interviewing students in Texas somewhere, and one of them told the interviewer they were a "sports management major".

There really is such a thing.  It amazes me, you'd think organizations would want to hire either a real MBA (Which are a dime a dozen anyway) or somebody with street smarts in how the money and resources work in a particular sport.  Maybe golf courses, schools, and county rec departments hire them, but damned if I can see why pro or semipro organizations would.
