They should have buried that tired old canard with the corpse of Ted Kennedy where it belongs.  You could always count on him to trot out that particular horse and give it a few whacks every election cycle.

You would think that if the GOP really wanted to get rid of Social Security and Medicare they would have done it 2000 thru 2004 when they where in control of the Presidency, the House and Senate and the Supreme Court. When I point this out to the dems they tend to change the subject.

Just like if the Dems wanted to do something about anything, they would have done it when they Had Valerie Jarrett running the White House and Reid/Pelosi in charge of congress.

Newflash dummie!  SS and Medicare are going to fail all on their own and maybe sooner than anyone thinks. Then whatcha gonna do?  Seems to me the GOP is the only one trying to at least address the problem. Dems bury their heads in the sand.
