I think I posted this miracle cough cure before, but...

I just did it again.

I read on some oddball health site that rubbing Vick's Vap-O-Rub on the soles of your feet stops a coughing attack. Sounded silly, but I tried it and it worked.
 
Just worked again tonight. Terrible dry cough as i get to the end of this cold I've had. Stopped it in one minute flat.
 
Now, the theory is that the stuff in that stuff is absorbed faster through the soles and gets to work immediately. I mentioned it during a trip to the VA hospital and the reaction was "Yeah, we know and we all do that."
 
So, why don't you publicize it as a treatment?"

"It's not officially a treatment, so we can't advise you to do it, but we might do it if you have an attack while you're here and no one's looking."
 
Yea! Modern medicine.

But, if you have a bad cough, give it a shot.

Apparently it does work.

6. Best natural cure for cough is drink lots of water.

I had a bad cough when I was touring Norway. I went to a pharmacist and asked him if there was any meds for cough and he said no, just drink lots of water. So I did and it worked. Not sure why but I think the body needs more water when fighting colds.
