Did Cuban healthcare spread AIDS?
« on: October 10, 2014, 05:29:22 PM »
Article explaining that the AIDS virus has been around for some time....100 years maybe. But I read a paragraph that got me. It follows the link with my reasoning of why I think Cuban healthcare had something to do with it's spread.

Then, in 1964, the virus crossed the Atlantic and landed in Haiti, researchers say.

"It has been suggested this occurred with the return of Haitian professionals who worked in the newly independent Congo in the 1960s," the authors wrote. "Our results strengthen this hypothesis, as a large proportion of these professionals were based in Kinshasa."

Didn't Cuba send large numbers of doctors to Haiti and Africa in the early 60's? Weren't they accused of reusing needles and not following proper medical procedures? Yes they did and when they returned I think they brought something back with them.....AIDS.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

From the title of your thread I was leaning towards yes right off the bat.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.
