I'm sure you all know the name, Katherine Engelbrecht, who is one of the plaintiffs at the heart of the IRS scandal. She formed a group in Texas called "True the Vote".
After the 2009 election, there were a lot of voter irregularities. This group submitted their findings to the Harris County Registrar. His office announced in 2010 that in one month's worth of new voter registrations, 7,000 were new voters and 17,000 were problematic. He also said that the group "Houston Votes" served as the area's new ACORN organization. (The other group that O'Keefe exposed, now supposedly defunct).
It only gets worse. True the Vote took Sheila Jackson Lee's district, and pulled the actual voter registry, that had 6 or more persons registered per address. (yeah right)
Out of seven voter districts in Harris County, most averaged 2 to 8 thousand instances where 6 or more were at one address. Sheila Jackson Lee's district had almost 20,000. Engelbrecht's group took the first 3800 of the 20,000 to investigate. Many of the addresses were vacant lots or business addresses. Some were registered more than once and some did not live in the district they were registered in.

Even Elijah Cummings, who is co-chair with Darrell Issa investigating the IRS scandal got in on it. Katherine Engelbrecht has filed an ethics complaint against Cummings.
