Leaping on Malaise for saying that it was unclear what this particular hater's motive was and implying she is an anti-Semite, however, was out of line.
You aren't going to convince me otherwise. Drag whatever you like out, but that was still wrong, as it is wrong to call anyone who questions the policies of the Israeli government an anti-Semite.
Of course no one is going to convince you otherwise. Liberalism is the template and to believe liberals hate Jews doesn't fit the template of what you want to believe. Hypocrite.
Many liberals have found a way to mask their anti-Semitism in criticism of Israel. They may never say "kike" or "Jews run the media." A few may even 'tut-tut' those types of accusations in order to save face. But when the posters' preoccupation with Israel and unrepentant "criticism" of Israel becomes more than just a little suspicious, the pattern emerges and becomes clear. They hate Jews.
Another covert form of anti-Semitism is the use of "Zionist" in place of "Jew," but it is nothing more than a clever way to muddy the water. Then there is the use of the Holocaust references and imagery whenever it is Israel involved. Most of the time, you will see people screech to high heaven when someone uses the Holocaust as a reference to something on the island or calls someone other than Bush, "Hitler." But those same people turn into pigs at a trough when it Israel as the target.
