This writer really needs to come up here where the roads are full of long haul drivers  all over from way down in Dixie to the mid west have to pull over when they hit New England and put on a white shirt and a tie.

Yup even the logging trucks have the drivers neatly dressed as do the drivers of the trucks to pump out the septic tanks.    So kind of a Fed. law about commerce that requires anyone driving any kind of truck to look presentable.

Horror story's of truckers stopping at weigh stations and being checked for dirty fingernails.

TMN does have a point.. Sort of.

I've noticed a lot of commercials featuring 'stereotypes' of southerners - and I can only speculate its because of the runaway success of Duck Dynasty.

Hell, the latest involved digging The Dukes of Hazzard out of mothballs. (minus the Confederate Flag and 'General E Lee' painted on the roof.)

Where TMN goes wrong is that the 'rednecks' aren't portrayed as "Bubbas" (By which I infer he means "morans" )
