'Way too organized for them.  Kind of thing the Russians would do, though...Russian mob or Russian government, there really isn't much difference and a high degree of overlap anyway.

It seems to be all about money and banking. How about George Soros - he's got the money to afford this and more.

I used to like banksters, but not so much anymore.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

There seems to be fewer of them to like.

It seems to be all about money and banking. How about George Soros - he's got the money to afford this and more.

Given his background and the particular method by which he made his pile, he could very easily be associated with Russian oligarchs and involved in some way.  Again, the oligarchs have a large overlap with both the Russian gangs and government.  But I don't think Soros would be directly behind it, beyond identifying people to extort, coerce, and/or take out to those who are really running the show.  Of course it is in the nature of a guy like Soros to think he is playing the silent partners, right up until they find him either a liability or just no longer useful, when he will suddenly find out who's really being played, as his personal lights go out.

Could it be that these guys may have been caught with their hands in the till and suicide saved them and the banks a lot of trouble. They escaped the embarrassment of being tried and going to prison and the banks could cover up their misdeeds. Banks don't like bad publicity about dirty deeds/crooks in their banks.
