Federal Spending: Where Does the Money Go

Presidents TOTAL 2015 proposed budget;

33%  Social Security, Unemployment & Labor
27%  Medicare and Health
16%  Military
6%   Interest on debt
4%   Veterans Benefits
3%   Transportation
3%   Food & Agriculture
3%   Housing and Community
2%   Education
1%   Energy & Environment
1%   Government
1%   Science
1%   International Affairs

If interest rates rise substantially, "Interest on debt" could start to rival Military spending as a significant portion of the federal budget.

60% goes to mandatory entitlement spending.  :thatsright:
