Good to see the ol' digs again, though the avatar thing ain't happenin' yet for some reason. Attachments directory isn't writable or somesuch.

Yeah - I'm still finding a few of those issues. The short version is the forum encodes hard paths to different directories and whatnot on the server. The pathways on this system are different, so I've been rooting them out one at a time and making changes. To further complicate matters, I upgraded the forum software which made some of the past features of The Cave incompatible. That's why there is no front page to the forum ( at this time )

Most of the remaining issues are related to forum themes missing parts of their graphic sets.

I can't believe that I walked away for years and then when I came back I was checking every day to try to see if CC was back!

The worst moment was when I got the "the domain conservativecave.com is available (for sale)."  I thought "jeeze, that would suck!"

Nice to have a less rigid alternative to TOS and nice to see it back!"
