They are 3 month old sisters. They are sweeties who explored every inch of the vet's office including the counters they jumped on from the examination table.
Scat claims they are spawn of Satan. She may take a while to convince.

The grits primitive is an old woman.

Cats tend to live 12-16 years.

These two new kittens are probably going to outlive the grits primitive.

So what happens when she dies?

Seriously.

This is selfish thinking on her part; she doesn't care what happens to the cats after she dies.

This is why after the cat Ellie, now six years old, came here, I decided she'd be the last of the cats, because I don't want any of them to outlive me, and be abandoned after I pass on.

They will eat her dead body until it is no longer edible.  Hopefully, by then, someone will have noticed the smell.

Life-span of course is all speculative, but the odds are the grits primitive is in the last decade of her life.

If it was imperative for her to have more cats, which I doubt it was because she couldn't ever afford the two she had before, she should've adopted cats 10-12 years old, ancient felines, so that she wouldn't have to worry about what'd happen to them after she passes on.

I doubt there is much change in smell going from a living DUmbass to a dead and rotting DUmbass.
