Quinnox tries to disavow cACA...Skinner shuts that s*** DOWN

There were a whole bunch of progressives who were against the ACA
here at DU. Don't buy any revisionist history saying DU was united in this thing. And the public option was shot down without hardly any consideration, and President Obama bragged about it on Fox news. Don't believe me? He has a famous interview talking about it, during this time period. He said "I rejected all kinds of things 'the Left' wanted." This was made in a conversation with the Fox news host about his health care plan.

So, number one, me and a bunch of other good progressives at the time were always against this giveaway to the for-profit insurance companies. And I know this for a fact.

Translation: I TOLD you, Will! Which, to be fair, there were a fair number of moonbats who were willing to hold out for totally free healthcare (of course).

But almost as fast as a ProSense rebuttal, here comes Papa Skinner:

Thankfully, it became law anyway.

31. I was for it, vocally, because of the pre-existing conditions clause.

And now I feel like an asshole.

Don't sell yourself short, Will: you ARE an asshole.

Guess the health benefits from that evil KKKorporation your wife quit are looking pretty good about now, huh?

Remember when conservatives warned the Dummies that "health insurance" didn't equate to health care.  And they all laughed at us and called us liars.

Skimmer loves the shitty democrat insurance.

He's rolling in DUmmybucks like Scrooge McDuck in his vault and pays hospital bills with pocket change.

No word from his flunkies Elad and Lord Marblehead.

Chances are the huge premiums and thousands in deductible are a little more significant to the peons.

the for-profit insurance companies

I want them to explain the "not-for-profit" business model that will keep our existing healthcare solvent.

See, DUmmies, I want you come here and tell me how the medical industrial complex is supposed to treat Cancer, heart surgery, etc, etc, at a LOSS and still provide "care". Just the last days of my father's ICU care ran into the tens of thousands(if not HUNDREDS of thousands) of dollars. Of course you morons think it should all be "free" and the care givers will provide service out of the goodness of their hearts...................................ya, right.

Stupid ****tards.
“The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”

Easy: take money from KKKorporations and the 1% ad infinitum.

That is ABSOLUTELY how they want it.

Pretty much.  A huge ass middle finger to his resident "celebrity".
"We make men without chests and expect of them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honor and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and then bid the geldings to be fruitful."

C.S. Lewis

A community may possess all the necessary moral qualifications, in so high a degree, as to be capable of self-government under the most adverse circumstances; while, on the other hand, another may be so sunk in ignorance and vice, as to be incapable of forming a conception of liberty, or of living, even when most favored by circumstances, under any other than an absolute and despotic government.

John C Calhoun, "Disquisition on Government", 1840
