They're butt hurt because no one mentioned or made notice of them as atheist right after 9/11.....hell, most atheist are atheist so they can stand out in a crowd and be noticed, feel superior/special/different. The ones that truly believe there is no god and are true atheist just go on their merry way and leave everyone else alone.

     The atheist mentality has got to be the pissiest, most self-absorbed, diva-like one in the world, with the possible exception of islam and whatever the **** is wrong with Cher.

     We have elections, take votes, and generally rely on the rule of majorities, but if ONE atheist gets all redassed over anything, we have to stop and let them have their little tantrum. And DU is LOUSY with look-at-me atheists. Except we need another word for them (other than asshole, I mean), because they're not really atheists. They are too faggy to talk atheist shit to a muslim, so they spiel on those who are tolerant enough to listen: Christians.

I agree Johnny but there comes a time when atheists have to make  their maker and how they do that is  beyond me.

If one is an atheists what care do they have for the religious community, Many of us have lived ins society's that are not Christian, walked the land of foreign gods and marveled at the temples built to these gods, so who is an atheist to come and put these civilizations down?

     Let's just call DU atheists what they really are: American Judeochristo-Atheists. As long as they're sitting in this country, protected by our laws and by anonymity, they will rant away about the nonexistence of a Judeochristian God. They are at worst ambivalent about the existence of "allah," however, and they're outright accepting of ridiculous shit like "gaia," "mother nature," and all the horseshit that Indians believe. Put them in a different country, where religious culture is FAR more ingrained than in this country, and it will suddenly become "beautiful" and "haunting."

     More succinctly: it isn't that they don't believe in God. They just hate the white people who do.
