Earlier this week, President Obama showed his continued failure to work with Congress to enforce the laws of the land when he bragged ¨I've got a pen and I've got a phone,¨ implying that he can ignore laws pass by Congress and use Executive actions to carry out his orders even when they are contrary to laws passed by Congress. This is raising a lot of comparisons to Obama as a dictator, which eventually leads to the most famous dictator ever.
Obama is nowhere near as bad as Hitler, but his regular habit of ignoring the Constitution and laws passed by Congress when it is inconvenient to his preferences, is very disturbing. Why even have a congress, if the the president is going to ignore it's laws?
In the 1940's, Spike Jones came up with a funny, popular song,
Der Fuehrer's Face, that made fun of Hitler. Obama's continued leanings to dictatorial actions is ripe for an update of this song.
