6. Thanks everyone

MY contract is technically up at the end of this month, but they eliminated a bunch of positions (including mine). Now back to the drawing board.

Does any one know of political campaigns that could be staffing up?

11. Texas might be a good lead.

There's some serious Democratic effort going on in my state.

14. I'm applying to a few in Texas

And that thought scares me (and my mom, who lived in Texas as a kid and hated it) because I'm your stereotypical liberal white girl driving a Subaru but I'll take the challenge.

I'm applying to Annie's List and Battleground Texas. I know about the latter but can you tell me a bit about the former (if you know).

I wonder if this "tabbycat#s" is Amber's trained support cat. Looking for a free ride out of Tucson.

Have you no shame??
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

2. Sorry to hear that...
It's been slow where I work, too. Kind of scary because I'm one of the 'new' guys with least tenure. All the temps are gone, one or two regular employees have been let go (but not me, yet) and they're talking cutbacks in hours.
Best wishes going forward.

This reply struck me as funny.  The DUmmy is probably working some low skill, minimum wage Dummy job and pretentiously talks about his tenure.  Hey Professor Wounded Bear, next time try using seniority instead, schmuck.

By the way Professor, sorry to hear that they're talking about cutbacks in hours.  Wouldn't have anything to do with Barrycare, would it?
