11. As predicted.

California is going to lose out on a lot of income after passing this law.

15. Hopefully condom use in porn will be a national regulation

16. That'll work!

Cause it's not like porn could move to Mexico.

21. So we should have no labor laws here because jobs will move to China, right?

19. I voted against the condom law because

it is not the kind of thing to bring to a vote and because it would damage the fragile film industry further in LA. However, they really do belong in Vegas, not in neighborhoods with families.

20. Like jobs moved to "Right To Work" states.

23. +1

Only on that issue, most dems' analysis of such moves overwhelmingly aligns with progressive values.

On this one, not so much.

I like how she thinks she gets to tell everyone -- even her own -- how to think.

27. I like the idea of adults getting to choose whether or not they want to wear condoms.

We don't need laws telling us we have to.

28. Personal protective equipment is required in a number of different situations

I see no reason why porn should be exempt, however it should be under the umbrella of requiring a safe working environment. If there is an alternative to condoms that is effective in keeping workers safe, then it should be allowed. If the incident rate of STDs in porn is lower than the general population (and I don't know if it is or isn't), then the requirement for them seems more like a political solution in search of a problem rather than a workers' safety solution.

MORE CONTROL!!!

31. The industry urgently needs some proper regulation

Off the top of my head:
- Rubbers anytime a penis is involved.
- Rewriting the pay scale (pretty much everyone is underpaid).
- Mandatory monthly testing for all STIs.

MORE CONTROL!!!

I saw that in the paper. Man it must be bad in mexifornia when the libbys done run off the porn industry. I'm guessing that Las Vegas will be minus some young good looking hookers walking the street now that they can go do the same thing while being filmed and probably make more money!

Me? Don't care. Don't affect me none. I never was into porn. I'd rather have naked women in my bed, not on the TV.  :-)

I used to watch that stuff on a regular basis, but the majority of it these days is just plain boring.  I check in once or twice a month to see if there's anything new under the sun and there just isn't.

I got better things to do with my time.

I'm sure the State Assembly will take them in as "interns" if things get too bad. :naughty: :fuelfire:
