Scandal presser watching tips
Watch for body language.
Whether it's just a statement or he answers anything
And how.
This will tell you just how much real trouble Christie believes he is in.
Watching the body language is good--it enabled franksolich to detect way back in March 1981 when seeing the new anchorman on the
CBS Evening News, that Dan Rather was a barefaced blatant liar.
Unfortunately, it took everybody else twenty-three and a half years to see that too.
<<<but really doubts the cousin can read body language better than franksolich.

1. So far there is a shortage of direct eye contact
I am now watching him answer reporter's questions. He will directly look at the reporter when the question is being asked, but when answering, he looks to the side or down.
During his actual speech, the direct eye contact was almost nonexistent. He looked down a lot, so we saw his eyelids. He would look to the sides of the room but it didn't appear as if he was looking at anyone in particular.
Note that any eye contact he does have is very brief. He will establish eye contact at the beginning of a communication exchange, but then he quickly begins to dart around the room with his gaze.
Now what does that mean? Nonverbal communication always has to be interpreted in context, so that must be kept in mind. For example, maybe his eyes are dry from lack of sleep. One thing it could mean, however, is that he's lying. It is established in the literature on lying that eye contact is an indicator of truthfulness.
Usually that's right, but not always.
<<<uses strong eye-contact a great deal, to detract.

2. Blinking a lot
He has not done that. That indicates lying. He looks way too relaxed.
Something is up, like he either is too practiced or he is telling what he believes to be the truth.
Nope; the cousin's stating a hope, not a fact.
Anyway, no point in the primitives getting all agog and excited about Chris Christy; most Republicans and convervatives didn't care all that much for him anyway.
