Can you imagine..turning a simple math problem with 2 steps to it, into 108 steps or be marked wrong even when you got the right answer. :mental:
Get rid of common core and get the feds out of the school system. :banghead:

I'm glad my kids are graduating in the next two years.

DoDDs schools very quietly on a Friday about a month ago announced in a press release that they are going to begin using Common Core next year.  If they were any younger my wife said she'd home school them.

If our representatives would do their job, Common Core needs an investigation.  First of all, it's illegal for the Feds to dictate curriculum to any state or school district.

I view Common Core as another Trojan horse like Obamacare.  They have their foot in the door now, and if you read the contract with the states, it pretty much takes away their power and puts it in the hands of liberal think tanks and lobbyists.

One of my niece's is home schooling her boys, she is also fighting against Common Core, so from that I would guess the home schooled are in the same boat.

Yes the Homeschoolers and private schools all have to comply if their state signed onto Common Core.  They are currently changing the SAT tests to coincided with Common Core's standards.

The left wants our kids to all be good little Marxists.  Get them early and be sure they all learn the same thing the same way.  No individuality or independent thinkers allowed.
