Alzheimer's. I am thankful that nobody in my blood line has ever gotten it

But the woman that helped my mother has it. She is at mid stage of it and I have a good relation with his daughter in law and son. I am a good listener, but for people who have been there, how useful are online support groups?

How do you tell if a lunatic has Old Timers?

For the resume - expert listener.

For gNads, the only good listening is inside an echo chamber.  :banghead:
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

Wait just a minute mister.
We learned recently that nads was jewish.
I better see rabbi on her resume before I see expert listener !
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

I find it ironic that in a post about Alzheimers the nads appears to forget the gender of the subject of her post.

I think with nadin's resume it would be easier to list the things she hasn't been and/or done. As of right now I think that list is only up to two.
1. Been wrong.
2. Had Alzheimer's.

For new members and lurkers: I am a fictional spirit-guide with no smell whatsoever. I am part irish setter and part pigeon. If you don't smell any strange smells it means I'm probably standing next to you. As I am a fictional character anything I post should possibly be considered fictional.

Damn it Flippy, you beat me to it.

I'm pretty sure that if NadaindaBrain does not have Alzheimer disease she has some other serious mental disease.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.
