The Wells Fargo bank that I normally go to has a TV mounted above the waiting area.  Every time I have been there it has been tuned to the weather channel with the sound muted.

Occasionally the TV in our bank lobby is turned on, usually to weather or news. Never seen any Bouncy stuff there.

changed the channel to NECN (kind of a New England version of CNN.

I'm confused.  Do you mean they are similar in format, or similar in that they are both changing their formats because they keep getting their ass beat by Fox?

In other words, CNN is following the lead of PMSNBC.
That's sure to jack their ratings up.  :lmao:

I pointed out to the shift leaders that their boss is an idiot because Maine is a blue state, we voted for President Obama twice with percentages in the high 50s, I was sure that I wasn't the only patron who felt the same way and that their owner was not going to have everyone in the restaurant stand up, link arms and march out to join the hourly teabagger rally. [2]

My wife and I have never been reticent people. Even in the immediate post 9/11 era where Democrats were supposed to cringe like beaten puppies whenever a right winger snarled as a sign that we didn't count because of George W Moron's illusory 92% poll approval, WE spoke our minds. The shift leaders are all very nice people. I told them that I was sorry that they were receiving all of the grief from me, but at least my big mouth never cost anyone 24 Billion dollars!

Primitive,

Can you take the time to come over here and explain to me how you arrived at the two thoughts represented above, without having them bump into and step all over each other in your tiny brain?

On one hand, you're saying that you didn't bow to Bush's 92% approval rating when people "snarled" at you.

On the other hand, you expect someone to accede to your beliefs because your candidate won 58% and 56% of the vote.

How can you even remotely reconcile these two thoughts?  Are you really just that stupid?  Do you really not see how big of a hypocrite you look like when pairing these two statements together?

I swear they act as if changing a tee vee channel is some big heroic act, odds are the manager changed the channel just to shut the DUmmy up. That is if any of this occurred.
I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

If I were ever at an eating establishment, and a moonbat complained and had the channel changed, I would immediately get up and say "Heeeey, I was watching that!  Can you please put it back on?"

Chances are, the station would go right back to where it was.

The chances are also that the moonbat would be pissed, but since I'd be armed, they'd just have to be content with pissing their pants and clutching pearls in frustration, rather than trying to confront me.

YEAH BABY!

I live in the most moonbat of moonbat central.  i go out of my way now to say things in grocery stores, gas stations, and near bushes. So far nothing comes back at me. I will know I have hit the big time when there is a bouncy (which may not be a bouncy) about me. There's going to be wet spot in the front of my pants if that happens. Seriously, I'm going out of my way now. My favorite is to say "Remember when the gossip magazines were about celebrities and not democrat politicians?" Mostly I get yeah you are right those were the good old days. Can't wait for a moonbat to come back with something. Seeing as how they are all cowards and girl....metrosexuals I doubt that will happen.

8. Same as me at my former bank.

I was having a bad day when the people at my bank seemed to be having a hard time finding $5,000 in big bills to cash a check. Two TVs over the counter were on Fux News. I asked if they could change channels. No, rules from headquarters. I withdrew my checking and CD along with my mother's checking and life savings and moved to the bank down the street. Got a little better interest rate as a result. I'm sure it didn't "break the bank" but if more people did what I did, maybe we wouldn't have to put up with Fox.

Hmm, was his mom there with him? Is hog now on the run from the law?

I'm not in moonbat central at all (well, unless I go to Carbondale), but I have been doing the same in Kroger and Home Depot, Menards, Lowe's, etc.   All I get are smiles from the cashiers and some poorly suppressed giggles.

My bank has TV. It's tuned to the Food Network most of the time.

Lurking DUmmies, let me clue you in on something you don't seem to understand: of all the things a manager could possibly give a country **** about, what channel their TV is tuned to (so long as it's
safe for general viewing) is WAY down on the list.

You know, I never thought of it before, but it seems all of the banks around here are right next to three or four fast food joints....hmmmmmm....

Navy Federal has a couple of TV's in the lobby. None are turned to any station and it is just ads for services and sometimes a news tidbit.

McDonalds on base has a few TV's as well but I never paid attention to what was on. Now the medical clinic at Little Creek constantly has CNN or children's programs on. Maybe I should raise a stink about it. :evillaugh:

Tell them that CNN is changing their station format, so there is no point in leaving it there, and they might as well put it on the #1 news station.  :-)

As usual the DUmmies consider suppression of free speech and free will a "victory".

I don't remember the last time I was in a McDonald's that did not have a TV.

And they are usually on Fox News.

These days, to keep customers you have to have wi-fi and the Fox babes.

I rarely listen to a word they say, but I enjoy looking at them.
