I'm not so sure it was because of not taking the kid to McDonalds.  I guess the kid got sent to bed without dinner and that's the real issue involving the child abuse claim.

I hate it when parents use their kids to punish each other in divorces.

 I would say this 4 year old is learning to mutilate and control the adults in his life.

Making an unruly kid skip a single meal is NOT child abuse by any stretch IMO.

Correct Rich. If it was... my parents would have been locked up long ago. That was actually a pretty mild sentence in Pa Perky's home. Shoot... I had to stay home one year for halloween, and had to give out the candy, for sassing Mom. When you 8 years old... that is akin to the death penalty.
