2. This is great! Thank you!!!

The cooking and baking forum, once the most lively, the most active, the most animated "little forum" on Skins's island, continues to atrophy under the leadership of dear old sweet Lu, who's a nice person but no leader.

This is not good news, because the cooking and baking forum's provided much comedy material for decent and civilized people; no other "small forum" has been so rich with inventory for the DUmpster.

The problem of course is that dear old sweet Lu is just lazy; she doesn't post much, instead just sitting there on her ass like a queen bee, expecting the other primitives to do all the work.

The sparkling old dude, for one example, used to be one of the most prolific--and funny--primitives in the cooking and baking forum, but those days are long gone.

It's obvious what happened here; whenever the sparkling old dude went to the cooking and baking forum and noticed that dear old sweet Lu wasn't posting and commenting, decided, "Well, if our leader's not doing her job, why should I bother posting and commenting myself?"

One can always count on the DUmmies to provide many tales of fights due to political differences with family members during the Thanksgiving season.

At ours, politics and the like are rarely discussed, but rather there are stories of the achievements of cousins, nieces, in-laws, etc., and many photographs.  Thanksgiving day is usually an 'immediate' family meal, and on Saturday a large gathering of many relatives, with many photos spread out for exchanging.

No fights, no political conversions, no cops out of the bushes.
This too shall pass.

Let us not forget the inevitable slew of DUers lamenting about the holiday itself, which predictably transcends into dramatic tirades about privilege, overindulgence, and football.
