To know government is to love it
« on: September 25, 2013, 09:45:42 PM »
We conservatives just don't understand government. If we'd only let the geniuses at DU educate us, we'd be in the back seat with it, our hands down its knickers, rounding third base and heading for home with a partially-torn-open Trojan pack between our teeth.

Why do those who hate the govt have such an inept understanding of how it works?

I can't count how many tea party types express their hatred of the government, but are completely clueless.

I'm reading RW ignorant comments about Obamacare. I should probably stop. LOL

3. My guess is that it's fear, combined with a lack of education and skewed, firmly held religious
beliefs, that won't allow for critical thinking or analysis of a given situation. These are the same people, who seem to let their anger and fear dictate their voting against their own interests at every election, holding them back and keeping many of them stuck on the bottom of the economic ladder. They then blame government and anyone who doesn't think or look like them for their miserable lives. It also doesn't help, that many of them take in large doses of Fox, Beck, Limbaugh et al., each and every day, reinforcing and lending agreement to their beliefs and fears. I believe, that many of these people, aren't able (with all of the brainwashing, hate, and fear), to understand that they live in this ugly bubble that doesn't allow for change, growth, or any transformation that would improve their thinking, or the way of being, in which they all seem to be stuck.

Or it could just be the intuitive realization that a large, oppressive, authoritarian government filled with corrupt individuals seeking their own power and self-interests, selling out one group in favor of another simply to remain in power, is antithetical to freedom. Just spitballin' here.

5. They act on what they hear from AM Hatemonger Radio

Don't confuse them with the truth as long as they can tune in to OxyRush.

You mean as opposed to the mind-numbing doctrinaire bullshit of Current TV, NPR, PMSNBC, all three network news broadcasts, and pretty much the entire moonbat blogosphere?

The infrequent times I listen to conservative talk radio is for entertainment more than anything else. Talk radio does not inform my opinion, it merely confirms it. Whereas you dolts hang on every word of your icons. Just look at the threads after threads over there of you asses gushing and swooning over some pronouncement by one pundit or other. Do you see that on a conservative site? Not at anywhere near the magnitude of you crotch-nuzzling hero worshippers.

6. They hate it BECAUSE they have no

idea how it works.

(having been fed Fox-type misinformation for so long)

I've got a news flash for ya. FOX News has only been around since 1996 or so. A lot of us have distrusted Big Government a lot longer than that. Of course, you assholes believe history began with the Clinton Dogpatch regime, so it's not surprising.

8. Lack of understanding is a root cause of hate.

If that's true then you must be one clueless bunch of MFers, because hate just radiates from the Left in general and DU in particular in waves. Oh, but you don't call it hate do you? When it's from the Left, all this grave-pissing and wishing death on conservatives' families and attempting to destroy people simply because of their beliefs is not hate, but "righteous indignation". Calling for people to be snuffed out or have their rights denied or be incarcerated via gross misinterpretations of the law are simply the price that has to be paid to create your Übersociety. Just like Adolf wanted his Übermensch, the ends justify the means.

DUmmie belief in how government works.

The government takes money from the endless wealth of the evil rich and the even more evil big businesses and gives that money to those who REALLY[/] deserve it.

The problem with all US haters of government is that we have been to the DMV office.  Oh and we try to actually try make and produce rather than do nothing and just take our mooch.

Yes government does nothing than lower the overall productivity of our country.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Typical talking points slop.  Critical thinking.......from Women's Studies majors.  :whatever:  How come you masterminds can never actually tell anyone why government is so great?  It's always generalizations of praise you cannot substantiate with fact.

Because...

Government is great because.....it helps.  How?  Can't say without saying it takes from producers to give to moochers.   Why shouldn't government remain within it's clearly defined boundaries?

Because...SHUT UP!!!111!!!!!

Liberal thinking is a two-legged stool and magical thinking is one of the legs, the other is a combination of self-loating and misanthropy.  To understand it, you would have to be able to sit on that stool while juggling two elephants, an anvil and a fragmentation grenade, sans pin.

If we are so clueless then how is it we knew the pitfalls of 0bamacare 4 years ago, and the DUmmies are just now slowly figuring it out?
I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

The rest would defend Barry and his cACA cluster foxtrot even after they're strapped to the gurney and being administered their "medicine".   :mental:

All the critical thinking a DUmmie is capable of is whether or not a politician's name ends with a (R) or a (D).

Voter ID.....who needs it.....conservatives don't. Now let me explain. Conservatives know who they are going to vote for or against, DUmmies don't, they look for the (D). We remove the (R) and the (D) on ballots, now half the DUmmies don't know who to vote for. Mathematically we should get 50%, or 1/2 of 1/2 of the DUmmie vote(25% of total DUmmie vote).....and seeing as the DUmmies most likely to vote multiple times, or vote for the dead people, are the Dumbest ones, we should pickup more than 25%.

How can voting for a democrat/socialist ever be in my best interest if I want off the bottom of the economic ladder? The government is going to take from me as fast as I make it so that I never climb that ladder higher than a rung or two. The only people that will benefit by voting democrat/socialist are the ones that plan to do nothing, accomplish nothing, never even attempt to climb that ladder.

I'm not going to nadin it but I remember a county in the south that was set to remove the D and the R from the ballots. The democrat party sued them because the black voters wouldn't know who to vote for. They won it on a civil rights issue. The democrat elites know exactly what they have done to the stupid people of America and they like it that way.
