Some of the X-wife's relatives were over here back in the early 80's. They got a thrill out of shooting some of my weapons.

All but one. He was fortyish and when he saw the guns in the closet of the guest room, I had to move them to my room. He couldn't sleep with them in the closet in the same room next to the bed. :lmao:

Mrs S.,

Have you and I crossed paths?
Have you ever walked up to a big, white duplex in Nebraska so drunk that you couldn't read the house number?  If so, I was the woman that politely walked you right back out of my living room (and away from my kids), down the steps, around the corner, and pointed out the house you wanted.

I might have. I am from Nebraska, and I have gotten drunk a time or two... or three...

Actually, I was talking about crossing paths here in Kansas. Whereabouts?

I don't have to have a permit for my television, I live in the USA and not the UK.

And no, I'm not kidding.

Copied from wiki.............

According to TV Licensing, "You need a TV Licence to use any television receiving equipment such as a TV set, digital box, DVD or video recorder, PC, laptop or mobile phone to watch or record television programmes as they're being shown on TV".[36] Portable televisions and similar equipment such as laptops and mobile phones powered by internal batteries are covered for use anywhere under a licence held for their owner's residence.

DUmmies wet dream.....license everything.....tax everything....give it all to me.

Well, I for one am glad I had a gun while at work as a security guard one night otherwise it could have been far worse then it was already . I had to hold some idiot at
gun point till the cops got there nearly a half hour later after someone called the 911 operator to tell them that a robbery was in progress when in fact it was someone who had just shot his daughters ex boyfriend  3 times.

If wasn't armed that not there could have been more innocent people shot in the store while dumbass was making his getaway to his truck on the otherside. There were a lot of shoppers in the store that night as well employees and no one else there to stop him but me.

Been there, drove through that. :bolt:

I rode through Coffeyville a few years ago, right after the flood.

I moved out of the shadow of Ft Riley last spring; now I live just west of Abilene. Look for the cloud of cigar smoke as you drive along I-70. If the wind is blowing in the right direction, I can smell the chocolate from the Russell Stover plant.  :hyper:

After the flood?  Not a good time to be here...but better than during, I guess.

Abilene and Fort Riley?  Hmmmm...ever go to Thanksgivin'-in-da-woods?

It's cold, but fun.  A blackpowder rendezvous...canvas tents, 1850 clothing, outhouses, reproduction guns and tomahawks...
