If Anyone be so nice to help me you thank you

The message block only includes a link to a "help me out" type site, no explanation of any sort.  No need to go there.  The DUmmy's entry at that site is a photo of three little kids, and a short story about husband losing job, going back to school, and they need $1500 for car payment and other bills.

Husband getting another job might do wonders.
This too shall pass.

She has raised $35 so far, a $25 donation and a $10 one. My guess is the OP primed the pump with a $25 donation hoping the other DUmmies would match that "suggested" donation. She didn't count on the DUmmies being conditioned that they only need to contribute $10 more to achieve whatever goal they need to meet.

At this rate she will need 147 more DUmmies to chip in to reach her goal. Good luck with that.

You're on DU, so chances are, you voted for Obama. OWN IT. Sucks for the kids. They didn't get a choice in the matter about what kind of ****ed up parents they'd get.

Why don't you lurking DUmbasses understand that there is a DIRECT correlation between Prog policies and our ****ed up economy? Why won't you idiots realize that our economy started tanking in October of '07, 11 months AFTER Dems won Congress and 9 months after they took control of it? Why won't you idiots also realize that OBAMA DOES NOT GIVE A FLYING **** about your plight, as shown by his vacationing every other f'n week and his 180+ or so golf outings? Yet you idiots STILL continue to carry his water.

Your OWN insane loyalty to your party is the reason you idiots are in the mess you're in. The Prog elites aren't worried about it one damn bit. They're all rich. They're getting richer as the gap is growing due to this idiot in office. See, fools, this is what Progs truly want. Two classes. **** upward mobility. The haves, them, and the have nots, you. That way, they can dole out a few entitlements and you'll come a running, tripping over yourself to vote them BACK into office.

Idiots.
NAMBLA is a left-wing organization.

Does Obama know of this?

Remember when the lady countered 0bama saying the employment picture was rosy by saying that her engineer husband couldn't get a job?  King Barky the Liar with a look of royal disdain told her she was wrong that the tech industry was full of jobs and he would get her husband one. Still no job for that guy.

Remember when King Barky the Liar said he would have the most transparent administration ever?
Remember when King Barky the Liar said you would not be spied on?
Remember when King Barky the Liar said that you were not being spied on?
Remember when King Barky the Liar said the NSA is not recording your phone calls and emails?
Remember when King Barky the Liar said that IRS targeting certain groups was horrible?
Remember when King Barky the Liar said that Benghazi was not a terror attack but spontaneous uprising from an obscure YouTube video?
Remember when King Barky the Liar said you could keep your health care plan?
Remember when King Barky the Liar said your premiums would be $2500 less a year?
Remember when King Barky the Liar said those responsible for Benghazi would be made to pay?
Remember when King Barky the Liar said he would half the deficit?
Remember when King Barky the Liar said that GM the UAW had paid back all their loans?
Remember when King Barky the Liar said there were green shoots?
Remember when King Barky the Liar said that the green industry was a good investment?
Remember when King Barky the Liar said there would be one million electric cars on the road by 2014?

I could quite literally do this all day long.  Obama is only good at one thing, lying. No make that two, lying and destruction.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

When did HAA-vard start giving degrees in lying?.....oh, nevermind, they've had a law school for a long time.

What's this ? A new scam brewing on the DU ? Is Skinner in on it ? For now only the shadow knows.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

I am just going to say I have never even thought that it would be a good idea to ask people I have never met for money.  What world is this?!!!

I had a FB friend contact me a few weeks ago saying "I know you have a great job and make "bank".  I need $1000 to pay rent.  I will write you a promissary note".  I said "ERMAGOD no". How crazy is that?

Has anyone here ever begged for money?

I like how one DUmmy referred this panhandler to the Wishadoo! scam. That ought to do it.

You may recall one critical strategy of poor stupid Beth and her pals in the Andyscam was to have multiple sockpuppets coming on to announce their mythical donations. It helped to prime the pump and shame the half-witted DUmmy fence sitters into making their own pledge.

It's possible that up to five percent of pledged money was actually collected - minus, of course, the huge number of sockpuppet pledges.

That's priceless. The libs can't help themselves from scamming themselves. There used to be honor among thieves, but never libs.

So, net funds raised may be in the hundreds of dollars.......in the negative, huh.

When we were stationed in Eureka CA, they caught assholes renting their kids out to panhandlers.  They sat on their ass in a (state rented) motel room while the kids stood on the street corner with scumbag strangers.

I've never even known anyone who would say the words "make bank".

It gives the impression of someone who wears a ball cap with the bill on the side.
