Do you want a place to tell your stories on the DU?

We all have a few of these amazing stories hanging around just waiting for a forum to share them in. Old standards or new ones that happen to us today. Show your interest by K & R this thread.

2. I officially endorse the your suggestion for a new DU Storytelling group.

An archive of great family histories, personal stories, looks into the past, political or not, and cultural insights not available elsewhere.

Who wouldn't love that?

and they are always interesting.

4. Sure, why not?

Long has nadinbrzybrzybrzy dreamed of having a place where she can post nothing but her own resume over and over.   :rotf:

Skin's Island of Misfit ****-Ups doesn't have the storage capacity for her resume. (I'm amazed we've been able to scrounge/dedicate the space for the little piece of gNad's resume we keep on record here.)

Hmmmm.

I wonder what inspired the applegrove primitive to think of the idea.

I've avoided posting bouncies up to now. But my mole will find such a forum irresistible.

I was in the line at a grocery store and these two rodeo clowns were behind me, laughing at their sensitivity training. I was angry because I teach sensitivity classes! I turned around to say a few words, and they fell silent at my wisdom. The cosmic vibe of shoppers shunning them could be felt like an icy stare.

Just then a Swat team jumped out of the produce section and started beating the clowns with night sticks.
"We deserve it!" cried the clowns.

The checkout lady smiled at me in gratitude...I knew she wanted to bear my chilluns.
and then the F****n store overcharged me for gum! I'll never shop at Wallmart again.

If they get a bouncy forum, it better be AFTER the Dead DUmmy forum is up and humming.

I've located the perfect theme song for the Bouncy Forum......

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qgqyWxLWs68
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

I'll try and have my mole hold off on its racist bouncy until they get a new forum set up.  But within two weeks my mole will post a bouncy hitting all the racial stereotypes.

I don't know how much can be mined from a primitive story forum.

The "bouncy" has been in decline for a couple of years now, but who knows maybe the bouncy can make a comeback.
