No surprise there. The insurance companies already ration care to some degree in that they won't pay for procedures they might deem unnecessary because of the person's age and/or medical history. I had absolutely no doubt that any type of gov't mandated plan (ACA, universal/single payer) would be based upon cost/benefit analysis that was much more cruel and insensitive than the current system.

Vanishingly unlikely that she did, and it looks less and less plausible every day, but unless the damn' thing gets unwrapped one way or the other, we'll all be dying to find out.

Half ass listened to NBC TV News tonight. They said doctors will change the terminology of CANCER. They will no longer call some forms of CANCERS "CANCER" and will not treat those as aggressively as they used too. Also some CANCERS they will not treat at all.....blah-blah-blah.

Not only is Obama going to spread the wealth around a little, he's going to spread very little healthcare around too......really thin.

Well the thing is that medicare and medicaid are the two entities that refuse more procedures than all other insurance companies combined. That was the really big 0bama lie about his HellCare.  This is the reason that I point and laugh at any seniors with an 0bama bumper sticker. They voted to off themselves and to me that is funny and justice in the evolutionary chain.

I've heard several nurses call in to Rush and Levin ove tthe last year or so and talk about how hospitals are now counseling patients about end of life planning...not even talking about treatment options.

He sounded almost like a conservative during that time and told me all I had to know. I'm 50/50 on who would have been worse for our country McCain or 0bama now. I don't think there is more than a dime's worth of difference and we would be associated with the horrific cACA bill to support our president.
