Paula Deen and Alec Baldwin
« on: June 28, 2013, 10:19:57 PM »
This just shows how really screwed up America is.

Paula Deen admits that she used the "N-word" decades ago but since has not demonstrated any propensity for racism. For making this admission she gets slammed as being a racist, her already best selling book (based on pre-sales) won't be released and sponsors are dropping her like a hot potato.

On the other hand we have Alec Baldwin who several months ago called a African American reporter a crack dealer and a coon. Then just the other day used gay slurs against another reporter and there is no outcry and none of his sponsors have abandoned him.

I look at things like this and all I can do is shake my head and say this country deserves Obama and everything he plans to do to it.

Unbelievable.  Look at this shit.

Quote
Paula Deen Canned For Using N-Word After a Bank Robber Held a Gun to Her Head in 1986

The language in question was revealed recently as part of a deposition of Deen by Jackson’s lawyers in May.

Jackson lawyer: “Miss Deen, have you told racial jokes?”

Deen: “No, not racial.”

Jackson lawyer: “Have you ever used the ‘N word’ yourself?”

Deen: “Yes, of course.”

Deen testified that she probably used the racial slur when talking to her husband about “when a black man burst into the bank that I was working at and put a gun to my head.”

“I didn’t feel real favorable towards him,” she said, referring to the robber.

Jackson lawyer: “Have you used it since then?”

Deen: “I’m sure I have, but it’s been a very long time.”
CNN

THE MAN HAD A GUN TO HER HEAD!  If some asshole did that to me, I'd call him every name in the book too.

What a bunch of overblown bullshit garbage.

That just tells me you can't believe anything the media reports.  All I've been hearing all week made me think Deen was some foul-mouthed Archie Bunker.  I didn't hear one word about a robbery or a gun.

It's puzzling to me. Both are pretty liberal, and both are big fans of 0. I can't figure out the double standard this time.

Don't even try. "Logic" and "democrat" are mutually exclusive terms.

CG, if Deen were a conservative, I could easily see this vilification.

If Baldwin were a conservative, he'd have been blackballed years ago.

I'm missing something here.

Let's not forget that Alec Baldwin is a Hollyweird elite.

Paula Deen, bless her soul, appeals to a more select group - namely, those who cook (the political elite class doesn't cook and thus the MSM doesn't really care to outline that industry) and those who actually work for a living. On top of that, she's southern; second, she's a woman; and third, her impact on America is felt a helluva lot more than Alec Baldwin is able to generate.

In short, Paula Deen is an uppity cracka ass cracka who needed to be taken down a few pegs.

I'm thinking being Southern is her real 'crime'.  Everybody knows all us Southerners need to keep paying and paying and paying.

Paula Deen also "insulted" Michelle Obama by telling the truth about her eating habits and saying that she was the guest who ate the most on the show. Therefore, Paula Deen must pay and pay and pay

Didn't Alec Baldwin throw a big party to raise money for Obama? ...........Then all is forgiven in DUmmieland.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin
