Would you vote for Alan Grayson, or a similar liberal, for President?

I can't think of anyone similar to Alan off the top of my head. He is one of a kind.

But would this country accept such an honest, outspoken critic of our government as Alan Grayson?

In my opinion, we not only need someone like Alan Grayson in the White House, we need similar agents of change in the Cabinet and in the Congress, also. Our Party is the only hope we have for change. I could never see it coming from the other side.

I do not believe the Democratic Party will get out the votes in the next election unless there is someone different, with a different message and a different promise for America. I think it will be very difficult to get them to the polls with the same old song and dance. Just my opinion.

No he is not one of a kind, there is a whole website full of people just as stupid as he is, it's called DU.

74. Why would he have no chance of winning the nomination?

He could run as an outsider, reform candidate, against the establishment. That usually a pretty good brand isn't it? Especially these days when people distrust the government so much.

We already have an outsider in the White House, and he has even managed to make it so some of the low information voters distrust government now.

And no DUmmies, I am not saying he is an outsider cause of his skin pigmentation, he ran as an outsider a non politician uniter, and has been everything but.

22. it's not a matter of whether we want him, but whether the party leadership and

the wealthy people they serve will allow it.

If they think a politician will truly govern based on his best judgment of what average Americans want and need, they will do anything to stop him or her.

Always amuses me when they gripe about the wealthy while praising a wealthy democrat.  :rotf:

108. Grayson isn't some wild eyed liberal.

He is middle of the road. The media pretends he is some sort of crazy liberal much as they did Kucinich. This is all part of the conspiracy to move the nation to the right. Not theory, conspiracy.

Preserving social security and medicare is centrist. Prosecuting Wall Street miscreants is centrist. Advocating single payer is CENTRIST.

Grayson for president! I will not vote for HRC.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

I really hope Grayson does run.
If we think the DUmp is funny now, we'd have to remove the needle stop-pin from the far end of the laugh meter.  :lmao:
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

Be careful what you wish for. It used to be total moonbats like Grayson couldn't win, but today he could win. The democrats could run an actual empty chair and still beat whatever RINO establishment repuke that ends up on the GOP ticket.

Why would I do that? I'm pissed at the GOP for doing just that.
