Ft. Hood Jihadist Nidal Hasan Sentenced To Death…

The Fort Hood gunman, Nidal Hasan, was sentenced to death Wednesday for killing 13 people, most of them unarmed soldiers, in a 2009 shooting rampage.

The jury of 13 retired military officers, which convicted Hasan of 45 counts of premeditated murder and attempted premeditated murder, deliberated for just over two hours on the sentence. They also dismissed Hasan from the Army and stripped him of his military pay.

Hasan will now be flown to the maximum security U.S. military prison at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, where Hasan will be placed on death row while awaiting lengthy, automatic appeals.

Why the comfort?

Why don't they shackle the bastard to an f'n handcart equipped with arm controls and have him push the damn thing from central Texas to Leavenworth?

As long as the taxpayer is footing his room, board, medical care; and as long as the Army allows him to sport his beard, I say have him earn the right for another pair of shoes while en route.

And should the ****ing terrorist "expire" from heat exhaustion along the way, oh well......

Nope. I hope the Army still has enough testicular fortitude to scrape together 6 of the most near-sighted marksmen in the uniform to form the execution detail from. With any luck at all, Convict Hasan will take 5, maybe 6 volleys before the sonuvabitch bleeds out.

Still, I'm happy some place in the US has the courage to hand out a death penalty.
Frankly I'm up for a good old "hangin party." Televise it, play it in every bar and club in the land.

I gotta agree with Mr. Mann on this one, let the bastard swing by his neck until dead.  Lethal injection, firing squad, and electric chair are too easy of outs for what he did.  Put the rope around his neck and make him wait for the door to open, with any luck the fall won't break his neck and he slowly strangles.  That or give him over to the families of the dead and injured, they may have an even more creative method for administering justice.

The beard business is the biggest factor why the first judge was relieved and the second judge -- COL Tara Osborne -- came in to finish the job.

The legal beagles believed that the violation to the uniform regulations was not much more than political grandstanding and decided to let it go.

The first judge had a problem with that, so they replaced him.
