That, dear Dori, is precisely the difference between you and the average moonbat. You do something good because it's the right thing to do, and if someone happens to see your good works and mention it to you, it's just icing on the cake.
Moonbats on the other hand, are all about symbols and appearances. They care about looking like they care more than solving a problem, which is why the "war on poverty" has been such a ginormous cluster****, or hold Band-Aid concerts where only a tiny fraction of the money raised goes toward food for starving people, instead of actually seeing to it food gets past the warlords and to the hungry folks the warlords are starving (because that would, like, put their tender pink assets in harm's way). In short, moonbats couldn't solve a problem to save their pathetic lives, because doing so would remove a venue where they can appear to "care".
