If Universal Health Care, ENDA, and the ERA were achieved in the same year I think I would faint... I wouldn't ask for anything at all for my birthday or christmas, I'd just make brownies with happy faces on them and give them out to everyone.

Until the financial moguls realize legal accountability, they will commit large scale theft unchecked.

The first order of business isn't about addressing "too big to fail" (a cop-out meme to justify bailouts), it is about addressing "too big to prosecute" (I'm quoting our infamous, "no balls" Attorney General here).

Last I checked, there is not one single American in jail for the crashing of the world economy in 2008.

The signal has been blatantly given that the middle class is ripe for the pickings, by our financial institutions, with the blessings of our Justice Department. Left unchecked, we are headed for a "France like" revolution. Guaranteed. You simply can't flaunt gaudy wealth in the face of the wide spread growth of our "working poor". Exactly what happened in prerevolutionary France.

Meanwhile, our "progressive" President has surrounded himself with ALEC type "visionaries". Wormtongue from "The Lord of the Rings" comes to mind.

Yep, and the worse part is, they are going to get loose in this country.  They know the military will never turn it's guns on US citizens, at least not in enough numbers, but they know they can get the so-called disaffected to do whatever they want.  All they have to do is turn off the food stamps and blame it on those they consider their enemies, and they'll have their army.

Making a deal with them is a stupid idea.
