I screwed up the Frontline dosing on the little dog.
We have three sizes of Frontline. Up to 22lbs, 45 to 88 lbs, and 89 to 135 lbs.
I accidentally gave the middle size dose to the little dog. When we noticed, I scraped off what I could and Sparkly wiped off more.
We dosed the middle sized dog properly, but now I'm worried about the little one. We have a lot of deer out here, a number of foxes, lots of little critters, and who knows what else. This is rural where have been suburban before.
On the one hand, we may have under dosed her by wiping it off. On the other hand we may have over dosed her by not wiping enough.
All of them seem just fine thankyewverymuch tonight.
Is there anything to watch for, symptomaticly, now and a few days down the road?
Way to go, man, messing up a poor little innocent dog like that.

2. I would call your vet and ask...

3. For what it's worth, my vet told me it's very hard to overdose with this stuff.
I did something similar with a cat one time. There were no problems. Hope that helps some!

4. I doubt that you will have overdose problems.
If you are worried about getting too much off and there is now an underdose, just watch more closely than usual for any uninvited guests on your dog. If you find a flea or tick, you will know to retreat the dog.

5. Thanks everyone! I appreciate all the info.
Given that an overdose isn't particularly harmful, and given that we may have washed too much off. I'll probably just re-treat her in a week or two.

6. I think the advise to talk to the Vet is the best. But if you are worried...
about under dosing, why not try something holistic on the little dog or anything that won't cause a reaction when coupled with Frontline. At least for the month.
