“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

Ya know, you could actually compose and post a one-sentence thing about what the Hell it actually was, without cutting and pasting from the AP, or making people follow a link just to find out what you're talking about...

AP have been cracking down on it. It has been well known.

I think what DAT was trying to say was, rather than just a link, how about a summary sentence like: "A vial of guanarito virus, which potentially causes hemorrhagic fever, has gone missing from a lab in Galveston"

That sentence took me less than 30 seconds to write. It's not really a whole lot to ask.

I don't care. It's against the Cave's rules to alter the message in a link, and to post any quotes from AP.

End of discussion.

Docstew is absolutely correct, I'm glad at least one other person in this thread can both read English and understand what the rule actually is.  I'm not even going to go into why all the rest of what you said is as dumb as a boxcar full of doorknobs.

I'm sure if I just posted links with no comment, I'd have 8500 posts too. Instead, I try to provide my thoughts.
