You might have a point there. Then again, a pretty face (well, reasonably pretty) does obscure a lot of shit, for LIVs.
Knock on KY all you want, but Romney won there by over 20 points. It's gone to the Dem only 3 times in the last 40 years: 1976, 1992, and 1996. McCain won by 16 percent in 2008.
As far as Senate races go, Paul won by 12 points against a very strong Dem candidate in former AG Jack Conway. McConnell won by 6 in 2008 where a lot of the heat for the economic meltdown was placed on him and fellow Republicans. I don't see this guy losing in 2014, even though he'll have been there for 30 years unless they come up with a SERIOUS candidate to face him.
Hollywood brain-deads are NOT going to beat McConnell.
