Yes, we must claw back things we have allowed to be taken, from NSA, to Nafta, to public education, to taxes, to even getting a damned real single payer system..
None of this stopped being true.
However, today, we have gotten a reminder, that the very worst the Democrats have to offer, is still better, than the best the GOP can offer, and anytime someone, be they nader, be they whoever, tries to do the whole "there is no difference" bit, the whole "we should stay home on election day" bit, we know exactly what those actions will result in.

There is strength in unity. There is strength in diversity, too. But infighting over purity tests results in losing elections to dangerous yahoos like this current bunch.

3. Unity for what? That we should be grateful to Obama b/c of the good things he has done and
accept the huge erosion of rights and freedoms? He appoints corporate Democrats to the bench who will favor corporate Defendants, and lets the Repugs pick three of their choosing, one of which was the top FBI attorney. Do you think she will see an FBI search warrant she doesn't like?
The 1% get what they want whether it is a Democrat or a Republican in the White House! The Democratic President allows them to go further in some areas than a Republican could get away with. I would rather have Obama over Rmoney, but it's still unacceptable to have such a broken system.

4. As much as I disagree with the more conservative wing of the Dem Party - which, let's face it, Obama
is a part of - I would never conflate them with the absolute lunatics, religious or Randian, who dominate the present-day GOP. So I keep voting Dem, while being well aware that I'm supporting the lesser of two evils.
I wonder if DonCoquixote is a mole by any chance.
