A Michigan elementary school is defending its decision to confiscate a third-graders batch of homemade cupcakes because the birthday treats were decorated with plastic green Army soldiers.

Casey Fountain told Fox News that the principal of his son’s elementary school called the cupcakes “insensitive” — in light of the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut.

Okay, I need to vent here. Sandy Hook Elementary was a trajedy, no doubt about it. We, especially teachers, and other educational officials, have to MOVE ON!!!! Instead of harping or suspending kids that do anything remotely harming another child, let's learn from this incident and MOVE ON!!!

We disagree on bunnies, but you are right on. Indeed, Sandy Hook Massacre was a tragedy. The sad fact is that it was a former student who already attended. Adam Lanza is the kind the who would not raise red flags as a school shooter.
