of Detroit should reject him and dare the Governor to do something about it. They do not have to go along with the Governor. The citizens of Detroit need to stand up for their rights period. It should be up to them. The Governor is no King either. The City of Detroit has elected officials also and they should govern themselves. They should hold a special meeting and hear from the citizens of Detroit. I think they should hold a referendum, and if the citizens of Detroit do not agree with the the tyranny of the Governor, they should send him a message. I would certainly dare this Governor to act. The police forces of Detroit is supposed to be controled by the City of Detroit. They have it within their power to confront him. He maybe in charge of the State police, but he is not in charge of the municipal police. Then you would have the Federal Government move in, and make the decision. I think the Governor is wrong and will lose if it came to that confrontation.
I say "right on", DUmmie. No, really, I sincerely hope this happens. Detroit is a direct reflection of liberal morals and values (such as they are) brought to reality. They have had enough self rule to make a once beautiful city a ruined shithole, take their bond rating to utter junk status, spend much more than they take in, and steal from what little bit of tax revenue is left. They have managed to show the entire world they are incapable of governing themselves.
If they follow your advice, and burn the city to the ground, the bulldozers can line up, blade to blade, and push the whole smoking wreck into the river. At least that way there will be something to actually build upon and Detroit can get a fresh start without the headache of all of the crime and blight.
I think you ought to go ahead and haul ass up there, DUmmie, and get ready for the coming "battle". They're going to need all of the "help" they can get when it comes time to put the torch to the houses.
