U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, suggest that there is an estimated $60 to $90 billion in fraud in Medicare and a similar amount for Medicaid.......for a total of $120 Billion.

DOE loans of $34.5 billion green energy

$27 billion to help the UAW

$15 billion that taxpayers are in the hole for GM

Plus it (Waste) goes on and on.....

And Bronco-bama says a tiny cut will cause catastrophe ?

I truly don't understand what is so difficult about finding waste and cutting it.  Every governmental agency should be responsible for an annual accounting of how they spent their money, with suggestions on ways that they could reduce spending.

The real irony is, every department, organization or agency that gets government money will look for ways to spend any money that "might" go unspent at the end of the fiscal year.

The same is true for departments in big corporations, too. Some of our customers maintenance divisions have separate funds to spend on repair vs. replacement.  I've seen cases where they spend twice the replacement cost of an electric motor to fix one.

We all got a 2% cut in our take-home pay with the SS increase in January. 

The government can survive a 2% cut, too.
