What exactly does that look like. I wonder when it wants republicans to start wearing a scarlet R or an elephant on their clothing.

I think UGP I a narco seeker. It always seems to end up in the ER in pain all the time.

What does a lefty think a republican looks like?  John Lithgow in the movie Footloose.

Quote
Footloose is a 1984 American musical-drama film directed by Herbert Ross. It tells the story of Ren McCormack (Kevin Bacon), an upbeat Chicago teen who moves to a small town in which, as a result of the efforts of a local minister (John Lithgow), dancing and rock music have been banned.

Forget the scarlet R or elephant...I'll just wear a gun.

Oh my.

Now, this is not the same thing that was posted here yesterday (Friday); that was just a comment made by the subway cat to get attention at another campfire.  She made a campfire on the same subject, this one.

I broke my freakin' arm saying happy valentines day to a republican.

Yesterday I was talking politics outside the 7-11with a very republican looking guy .He told me he didn't like Obama but was vague as to why. His thinking was liberal but he feared communism and all the sort of shit republicans are told to fear, he bemoaned the taxes, yadda yadda, but he also supported universal health care, gun control and the rich paying their fair share, though he was cynical gun control would help gun violence.

He was not rude or defensive about my questions, but he also was jaded about the public. He said he used to be more idealistic in his youth, but believed idealistic people were too few in number to change things in this country in a meaningful way.I explained why he might be very wrong about that, explained a conservative county like this one isn't the best model for the rest of the country and fox news isn't news, and he begrudgingly agreed with me,that the news is skewed and this county is a limited example.

We had a good 20 minute conversation,me in my turquoise Mohawk and he in his khakis and short graying hair.He seemed to have given up on many of his old beliefs, and that made me happy inside. I wished him a happy valentine's day. .

I turned to head home and tripped in the parking lot over a small raised part of the cement, and bang I hit the ground and my arm got it. I laid there a minute waiting for the pain to subside before I got up,and the republican guy I was talking to and another guy in the parking lot helped me get up and they got me ice and were very kind about helping me up.

I walked home and by time I hit the door it was definite I had broken my arm.It ****ing' huuurrt.  I went to a patient first type urgent care place, xrays showed the radius was a clean break right through it and they splinted my arm sent me home. Today I go to the doc, probably will be in a cast for who knows how long.

I am very thankful for medicaid, and I fear for people who in my situation would not be able to get their arm fixed, and would just muddle through. We really need universal health care. And yesterday a Republican agreed with me on that!

4. thanks

it hurts a bit worse today, had it propped on pillows last night, cats purring against it, and my meds for when my back pain flares has become a godsend for my arm yesterday and today.I only take the pain meds when I really need them. So I have a nearly full bottle and it's 4 months old..Tramadol does not work on me if I take it as pills.

But the pain meds make me sorta derp..and tired and that sucks. I hate the way they effect my mind, but thankful they control pain. and I am very thankful for the spell check function right now..lol...

6. 6 to 8 weeks!

Oh holy hell. LOL I eat with my left hand,I will be dropping alot of forks..And I'm ambidextrous, but not totally.

I already got me a thin long wooden dowel for an itchy stick picked out. I'm using the one from when I broke my elbow.

<<<wonders if this "itchy stick" serves another function, in the bathroom.

The subway cat's arms look too short to reach back and under.

11. thank you peace 13

I'm gonna reiki the shit out of it once it's in the cast. and cat purring is the exact hertz of an ultrasound treatment, purr actually helps healing like physical therapy ultrasound treatments. During my back flare ups I wake up to find sparkle up against my neck purring like crazy and bear with his body right up against my back fully stretched out purring up a storm and when I get up often I don't need to take more pain pills for hours, sometimes if it's a mild flare up,I don't need to take any.. my cats haven't been more than two feet away from me since I busted my arm.

Poor cats.

Ugpee should be used to using s/h/it's left arm, as using the right would probably freak s/h/it, out.
Other than the arm, the rest is just another bouncy.  :bouncy:
No bong. Stupid story, bro. :loser:
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

Can't be true, we all know full well that Republicans are all hate-filled horrid people who would never help another person. If it was a proper Republican he'd have quickly fetched his car and run over him/her/it. At least that's what the DUmp implies about Republicans...

Let's see how you can get it into your system without  ingestion. There's ingestion (ruled out), inhalation, absorption or injection.

Maybe she mixes it with her distemper shot.

What kind of "republican" would be able to talk to a purple-mohawk sporting  tattooed freakshow like UGP without bursting out laughing ?

My first impulse, in real life, would be to take a stick and jab and probe and poke it, to see if it's alive and moves, and to see what makes it animated, i.e., angry.

"Liberalism is an essentially feminine, submissive world view. Perhaps a better adjective than feminine is infantile. It is the world view of men who do not have the moral toughness, the spiritual strength to stand up and do single combat with life, who cannot adjust to the reality that the world is not a huge, pink-and-blue, padded nursery in which the lions lie down with the lambs and everyone lives happily ever after."

Silly hairball. "Ultrasound" is sound wave higher than the human ear can hear. Audible cat purring is not "ultrasound", by definition.
