Panetta: Obama Absent Night of Benghazi

Panetta said that Obama left operational details, including knowledge of what resources were available to help the Americans under seize, "up to us."

In fact, Panetta says that the night of 9/11, he did not communicate with a single person at the White House. The attack resulted in the deaths of four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens.

Panetta said that, save their 5 o'clock prescheduled meeting with the president the day of September 11, Obama did not call or communicate in anyway with the defense secretary that day. There were no calls about the what was going on in Benghazi. He never called to check-in.

Isn't that interesting.  I wonder what is to be made of this?  Who, exactly, is going to land under the bus for with this revelation?  Is it going to be used to further stomp Hillary into the dirt?  Is Panetta putting himself on blast or did he just toss obinga's skinny ass under the wheels?

Interesting...

Sooooo...why weren't he and Hitlery burning up the phone lines to Obama, or is that supposed to be the unstated point of his little revelation?  I suppose it does take a long time to get a rapid reaction force moving, if you don't ever bother to tell the guy that controls it that it's needed.

Barry is on the ******* phone to Bibi? While a U.S. ambassador's being hunted down and burned to death?

At which point do we arrive at "high crimes and misdemeanors?"

Hitler slept through an lot of important stuff in WW2 because people were afraid to wake him.

Obama was probably pounding the Mooch and couldn't be disturbed.

Democrat presidents seem to have a reluctance to "make decisions", Bill Clinton for instance; http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/05/14/hank-crumpton-cia-clinton-bin-laden_n_1514895.html

The bullshit tapdance Panetta and Dempsey tried on this makes my blood boil.  "Oh, it takes hours and hours to deploy a QRF, so we couldn't do anything."  Horseshit.  Stripped of the crap, what they said boils down to "Well, we never actually started to do anything, nothing went on alert, no aircraft were scrambled, there was no effort to establish communications, and then we fired all the senior officers who had actually wanted to start to do anything."

Panetta's already gone, but that four-star politician Dempsey needs to go too.
