In Reality The Job Market Is Shrinking And So Are Wages

You really cannot blame Obama for it but the job market is shrinking as it grows. And the brutal truth that the MSM is deliberately ignoring is that FULL TIME jobs are disappearing and being replaced by PART TIME, TEMPORARY and CONTRACT JOBS. The end of the full time job more most American workers is approaching. And it is a creation of big business and corporate CEOs to feather their nests at the expense of worker who create their wealth for them.

When the business community talks about multiple careers that are not just talking about 7 0r 8 careers in a lifetime they are talking about 3 or 4 careers at that same time. That is they are talking about 3 or 4 different part time jobs that might be totally different careers. The dirt is in the details.

Welcome to the new Reagan economy when all this mayhem was hatched. If old way of employing people are NOT coming back as the business mantra goes our youth are screwed and so are we.

It is the fault of the worker who continues to accept the business rhetorical tripe. By staying anti labor and anti union for so long and refusing to vote for more progressive agendas, the working class is dooming itself. Conservative attitudes toward labor policy is what has allowed business and industry to create the "RAW DEAL" that has replaced the original "SOCIAL CONTRACT" where workers got a fairer share of the wealth they create through full time secure and long term employment.

That is the only way that workers have chance to build a decent life for themselves and their families.

I wish this economy was like the Reagan economy things would be so much better. The delusion of these fools is something to behold. When they do admit that the 0bama economy is not the bestest ever they deflect blame. The same people that blamed Bush for everything under the sun don't hold Barry accountable for a single thing. It's like Bush was still in office for the past 4 years and Barry is just now arriving on the scene to save us all.

2. That's why when the job numbers come out, you have to dig deeper than what's being reported

The reality is that the jobs that are being lost are in the middle of the payscale....jobs in the $30-$60k especially. Those jobs are still being lost. The job growth is being made in the low-wage, below $30k. Most of the job growth is low-wage service workers, much of which is part-time.

So even though the job report shows the economy improving, it really isn't. Wealth disparity is increasing. Wages are going down. People have less money to spend. People who are getting laid off are taking these low wage jobs. And the people getting hit hardest the most right now is the youth. Many are leaving college with a mountain of debt and no way to pay off their loans because they can't find any employment with suitable wages. Ultimately, they won't be able to accumulate as much wealth over their lifetimes that their parents did. And that's the worry that this generation will actually have a worse quality of life than their parents.

You idiots voted for this so enjoy what you have brought on this country.

In my field, IT, there are plenty of fulltime jobs... hundreds of openings just in the middle TN area.  And they are all in the range of $30k-$60K and these are for the low end ones.

And that is just in that industry.  I can pull up plenty of others.  The jobs that are disappearing are you precious union jobs that were overpaid to begin with.  Or you expect a cashier to make $40k?

Or maybe telephone operators?  I love Walt Williams the econmist who fills in for Rush, or used to I don't listen to him anymore, he explained that in the 70's there were like 800,000 telephone operators but because of technology this shrunk to like 10,000 in the 90's.  The job market is every changing you idiots.

Dear Employees:
As the CEO of this organization, I have resigned myself to the fact that Barrack Obama is our President and that our taxes and government fees will increase in a BIG way. To compensate for these increases, our prices would have to increase by about 10%.
But, since we cannot increase our prices right now due to the dismal state of the economy, we will have to lay off sixty of our employees instead. This has really been bothering me since I believe we are family here and I didn't know how to choose who would have to go.
So, this is what I did. I walked through our parking lots and found sixty 'Obama' bumper stickers on our employees' cars and have decided these folks will be the ones to let go. I can't think of a more fair way to approach this problem. They voted for change......I gave it to them.

Oh for a while I thought I could get a job. Filled out about 1000 apps, had over 60 different resumes on computer for any kind of job that came along. From management to delivery driver.
 
Finally, after changing cities, one prospective employer told me the truth. he told me he would never hire me due to my age. I said well that is discrimination but he told me that the data to back it up and if you have that it is not discrimination. And he is right. I would never hire me. I got health problems a plenty and probably would file a workers comp case or a disability claim.
 
I know no over 50 males that have jobs right now that are not in unions or work for the State or the Gov't. Us former construction dogs, who have killed our bodies forever are shit out of luck.
