Lonely Planet
« on: January 17, 2013, 09:50:09 AM »
My daughter got me hooked on this group years ago when we were on a road trip to Vegas.  The link I've placed here is to a rather tame music video.  Many of their other songs belong in the Not Safe for Work forum. :-)

Michael Bolton helping the group compose a song. :lmao:

I am not a music fan in the least bit, but Lonely Island makes me laugh. One of my kids had it on one day when I walked by his room. I started laughing. "Doesn't matter had sex".

Motherlover was actually the first song I heard from them.  Hilarious and raunchy!  I love all of their songs, but that one, and the Amish one are the best, IMO of course. :cheersmate:

You aren't a fan of any music?

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

Nope. I never got into music. I don't feel it. My girlfriend loves music and tells me all the time how its emotional. I don't get it. If I listen to music it's usually 80's metal so that may explain it. I can think of only one time when I ever felt any emotion with music. It was while I was reading a book on the couch while everyone else was watching one of those horrible talent shows. Some old guy came on and was sang some Opera piece that made me stop reading and listen. I felt that, but that is the only time I can remember ever feeling music. My car radio is tuned to talk.
